Major Book Donation Grows Library Collection

Booksosurce, a St. Louis based distributor of educational books has donated $50,000 in books to Confluence Academy. The major donation was organized through Board member Jeff Smith. As a result, thousands of new titles have been added to the collections of Confluence’s three libraries.

“Booksource believes in the power of tradebooks in classrooms to help build reading comprehension. It is our pleasure to spread our belief and love for books. We are thrilled to get the books in the hands of students at Confluence Academy," said Katie Stuckenschneider, Sales Support Specialist at Booksource.

Smith , who serves as State Senator from District 4, was pleased to help make the donation possible. “Confluence is blessed to have the support of people in the
corporate community like Neil Jaffe and Katie Stuckenschneider at
Booksource. Because of their generosity, thousands of children will
encounter new stories, new ideas, and new worlds."
