We accomplish this with our unique combination of research based curriculum, certified teachers and integrated technology. Our school day is longer, as is our school year, to give our students the most time to develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum.
Our students are challenged with a rigorous curriculum that focuses on math, science, reading and Spanish and they master these subjects in a caring environment dedicated to their success. And everything we do at Confluence Academy is centered around our eight Core Values.
We also encourage our students to express their creativity and athletic interests by offering a wide variety of extra curricular activities including chess, poetry, band, choir, soccer, basketball and table tennis.
As a charter school we must meet all the state-mandated academic requirements all schools do, but we must also meet the requirements of our sponsor, The University of Missouri – Rolla.
We know the education of your child is the most important gift you can give. To realize the potential of that gift, at Confluence Academy everyone is engaging in teaching your child. Beyond our outstanding faculty, our students also benefit from the involvement of administrators, staff and parents. We have a full-time Student Support Manager who works with families to ensure learning needs are met. Each of our campuses has a Parent Teacher Organization that is very involved with each school through fundraising and other activities.
